Trial Attorney

Job Overview:
A prestigious AV-rated insurance defense law firm is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney for a full-time position based in Maitland, Florida. The ideal candidate will have substantial trial experience, preferably in the area of insurance defense. Strong communication and analytical skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense litigation, primarily focusing on first-party insurance claims.
• Handle all phases of litigation from pre-trial to trial and post-trial motions.
• Provide legal counsel and strategy to clients in complex legal matters.
• Draft legal pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct discovery, depositions, and legal research.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to support case management.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and trial preparations.
• Maintain and manage case files, ensuring compliance with deadlines and court requirements.

Requirements:

• Prior trial experience is required, with a focus on insurance defense preferred.
• Proven track record of handling complex litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar, in good standing.
• Additional certifications related to trial advocacy or insurance law are a plus.
