Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate for the Corporate - Emerging Companies & Growth practice in Menlo Park, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in emerging growth companies, public companies, and/or capital markets, joining the 4th-7th year associate class.

Duties

  • Advise startups and emerging companies on formation and financing.
  • Collaborate with venture capital partners and institutional investors.
  • Provide strategic counsel on equity and growth financings.
  • Assist in public offerings and liquidity events.
  • Innovate legal strategies to support client growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Experience with emerging growth companies and capital markets.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the California State Bar.
