Corporate Associate - Mergers & Acquisitions

Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate to join its Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group in Silicon Valley. The successful candidate will work with a diverse client base, including startups, midsize and large public and private companies, venture capital and private equity investors, and investment banks, across various sectors in the technology and life sciences industries.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate venture financing documents.
• Support M&A and capital markets transactions.
• Handle routine corporate requests.
• Establish working relationships with ongoing clients.
• Interface directly and frequently with clients and opposing counsel.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of corporate transactional experience.
• Background in securities, M&A, and venture capital transactions.
• Familiarity with formation and representation of technology companies.
• Experience with venture financing documents and M&A transactions.
