A law firm seeks a junior Intellectual Property Associate to join its team in Tampa, Florida. This position offers a unique opportunity for a lateral associate to contribute to a growing team focused on intellectual property litigation, trademarks, and patents.

Duties

• Assist in patent preparation and prosecution.
• Support trademark and licensing matters.
• Collaborate with team members on various intellectual property cases.

Requirements

• One to two years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
• Admitted in good standing to a state Bar where the firm has an office, with preference for NC and/or SC.
• Registered patent attorney with the USPTO.

Education

• Degree in mechanical engineering or chemical engineering.

Certifications

• Admitted to a state Bar.
• Registered with the USPTO.
