Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced insurance coverage attorney to join their practice in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will handle property coverage matters and demonstrate strong research and writing skills.

Duties

  • Analyze insurance policies and claim materials.
  • Draft coverage opinions and provide client recommendations.
  • Prepare correspondence for colleagues and clients.
  • Analyze documents for litigation purposes.
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
  • Prepare and respond to written discovery.
  • Draft pleadings and briefs.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Attend and advocate at hearings and mediations.

Requirements

  • Admitted to practice law; California bar admission strongly preferred.
  • Experience in insurance coverage.
  • Excellent academic credentials or solid work history.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to handle highly sensitive matters.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
