A well-established law firm located in Silver Spring, MD is currently seeking a skilled Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in Spanish and a strong background in personal injury law. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing practice while providing top-notch legal services to clients. Fluency in Spanish is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients being a key aspect of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, providing expert legal counsel and advocacy throughout the process.
  • Handle a caseload of personal injury matters, including initial consultation, case management, negotiation, and litigation.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and answer legal inquiries.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals, including paralegals and associates, to ensure effective case handling.
  • Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Ensure that all legal actions comply with Maryland law, and Virginia law, if applicable.
  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation for all client matters.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Spanish (required)
  • Admitted to practice law in Maryland (required)
  • Virginia Bar admission (preferred)
  • Experience handling personal injury cases (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Maryland State Bar membership (required)
  • Virginia State Bar membership (preferred)
