Insurance Defense & Workers Compensation Associate

This position involves statewide travel for in-person depositions and court proceedings. Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense and workers' compensation cases.
• Manage all aspects of litigation, including depositions, court appearances, and trials.
• Handle case preparation, including legal research, drafting motions, and client communications.
• Travel statewide for in-person depositions and court hearings as required.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies.
• Maintain a high level of client service and satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Active member in good standing of the Texas State Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and prioritize effectively.
• Willingness to travel statewide for in-person depositions and court proceedings.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.

Skills:
