Duties

  • Represent policyholders in first-party property insurance matters, including coverage disputes and claim denials.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to develop innovative strategies.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, drafting legal documents and maintaining documentation.
  • Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel to achieve favorable settlements.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
  • Provide clear legal advice to empower clients with knowledge of their rights.
  • Review insurance policies and related materials to assess coverage and build strong cases.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law and admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a preference for first-party property insurance.
  • Exceptional research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law and admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
