Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a litigation associate attorney for its San Francisco office. This hybrid role offers flexibility, direct client contact, courtroom experience, and the opportunity to work on cases that impact California employment law.

Duties

• Conduct substantive witness interviews
• Manage discovery and case strategy
• Take and defend depositions
• Appear and argue motions in court
• Draft dispositive motions, including demurrers, anti-SLAPP motions, and summary judgment motions

Requirements

• Active California Bar License
• 3+ years of employment law experience (wage & hour, PAGA, FLSA)
• Litigation experience required
• Public sector experience a plus

• Doctor of Law

Certifications

• Active California Bar License

The work environment is relatively conservative; however, the firms attorneys generally describe colleagues as supportive and regularly meet outside of the office for lunch and other social activities. Client contact comes very early. Compensation is competitive with other firms of this size.
