Duties

• Meet with clients to discuss their financial options.
• Organize plans and strategies tailored to clients' needs.
• Prepare and review court filings.
• Strategize with co-counsel or colleagues.
• Attend court hearings.
• Build and maintain relationships with bankruptcy trustees, judges, and their staff.
• Learn bankruptcy codes and procedures.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in the State of Missouri and/or Kansas.
• Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently or with a team of attorneys and paralegals.
• Desire to help people and make a difference in individuals' lives.
• Adaptability and attention to detail.
• Strong research and writing skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri and/or Kansas.
