A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join its Phoenix, Arizona office. The ideal candidate will have 3-9 years of experience in personal injury law, a strong command of legal analysis, and excellent communication skills. The attorney will be responsible for managing a caseload, handling client negotiations, drafting legal documents, and providing effective legal advice. Duties

  • Manage and handle a caseload of personal injury cases from start to finish.
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, written discovery, depositions, and briefs in support of clients.
  • Engage in client communication to provide legal advice, status updates, and necessary information regarding their cases.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, while also seeking opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Negotiate settlements effectively on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and partners on legal strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide mentoring, guidance, and support to prelitigation case managers and staff.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze case documents to support ongoing litigation.
  • Ensure the prompt and effective resolution of assigned cases.

Requirements

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Arizona, with no disciplinary actions by the Arizona State Bar.
  • 3-9 years of experience in personal injury law is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage high-volume caseloads.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Westlaw.
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively under pressure.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership with the Arizona State Bar.
