A law firm seeks a tax associate to join its Affordable Housing and Tax Credit Team in Orlando, Florida. The role involves working with for-profit and nonprofit developers on affordable multifamily housing projects across the United States.

Duties

  • Represent clients in the development, acquisition, and construction of affordable housing.
  • Engage in the rehabilitation, operation, and sale of multifamily housing projects.
  • Utilize federal, state, and local affordable housing programs effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience in partnership tax and federal income tax credits preferred.
  • Member in good standing of any state bar.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting.
  • LLM in Taxation preferred.

Certifications

  • Bar membership in good standing.
