Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its transactional team in Spring, Texas. The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate and business law, focusing on transactional matters, including commercial real estate and business transactions. This role requires collaboration with clients, senior attorneys, and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, purchase agreements, and corporate documents.
  • Assist clients with business formations, mergers and acquisitions, and compliance matters.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on business-related legal issues.
  • Participate in due diligence for business and real estate transactions.
  • Work collaboratively with the transactional team to support client needs.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure effective communication.
  • Participate in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
  • 2-5 years of experience in corporate law, commercial transactions, and real estate.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent research and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in a business law firm setting.
  • Experience in construction law or tax law is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
