Associate - Finance - Latin America Practice

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified Associate to join its Finance - Latin America Practice in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience, with a focus on project finance and M&A. Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.

Duties

• Advise clients on cross-border capital markets and M&A transactions.
• Participate in project financings and high-stakes arbitrations.
• Represent clients in complex commercial and investor-state disputes.
• Collaborate with multinational teams on sophisticated business transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience in project finance and M&A.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
