Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Capital Markets Associate with 3-8 years of experience to join their Corporate Finance and Capital Markets practice in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will work on innovative and complex financial transactions across various industries globally.

Duties

• Represent issuers, underwriters, and placement agents in public offerings and private placements.
• Ensure compliance with and reporting under the 1933 Act and 1934 Act.
• Participate as a key member of deal teams, managing transactions from due diligence to closing.

Requirements

• 3-8 years of capital markets experience.
• Experience with business development companies and 1940 Act funds preferred.
• Large law firm experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
