Duties

• Provide counsel on customs matters, including ruling requests and prior disclosures.
• Handle protests, petitions, and audit defense related to tariff classification and valuation.
• Advise on free trade agreements and trade remedies application.
• Offer guidance on tariffs under IEEPA, Section 232, and Section 301.
• Engage in export control and sanctions matters, including compliance counseling and licensing.
• Participate in CFIUS and national security regulatory matters.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in customs matters and trade remedies.
• Experience with export control and sanctions valued but not required.
• Strong verbal, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials required.

Certifications

• Relevant legal certifications preferred.
