Job Overview

A prominent Colorado-based personal injury law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join its litigation team in Longmont, CO. Location

Duties

  • Represent plaintiffs in personal injury matters, including auto accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda

  • Conduct legal research and case analysis using LexisNexis and Westlaw

  • Handle client communications and guide clients through litigation

  • Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and depositions

  • Prepare for and, if applicable, participate in trial proceedings

  • Mentor junior attorneys and support staff as needed

  • Collaborate with senior litigators and litigation support teams

Requirements

  • Prior experience in personal injury litigation or a related legal field preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines

  • Strong understanding of Colorado civil litigation processes

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Colorado

  • Member in good standing with the Colorado Bar

Skills

  • Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw

  • Strong legal drafting and writing capabilities with high attention to detail
