Duties:

• Handle a variety of complex business litigation matters, including legal research, drafting legal documents, and case preparation.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and other dispute-resolution settings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members on case strategy and development.
• Manage case files, client communications, and deadlines.
• Provide legal counsel to clients, offering strategic advice in complex litigation.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Engage in discovery, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
• Participate in trial preparation, including witness preparation and trial strategy.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in complex business litigation or judicial clerkships.
• Proven ability to perform detailed legal research and drafting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
• Experience in court appearances, including trials and hearings, is preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Oregon.
