Location

Duties

  • Represent clients in felony and misdemeanor criminal matters across Arizona

  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including motions and pleadings

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and develop case strategies

  • Appear at court hearings, trials, and post-conviction proceedings

  • Maintain proactive and transparent communication with clients

  • Negotiate plea deals and settlements when appropriate

  • Collaborate with investigators, paralegals, and support staff on case preparation

  • Manage case files from intake through resolution

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience practicing criminal defense law

  • Strong background in litigation and courtroom advocacy

  • Willingness to travel for court appearances across jurisdictions

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex case files independently

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona
