Duties

• Represent clients in trusts and estates litigation matters, including defense of fiduciaries and beneficiaries.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff on complex cases.

Requirements

• 2 years of litigation experience.
• Prior experience or interest in trusts and estates litigation preferred.
• Strong oral advocacy and legal writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor with excellent client-service skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
