Associate Attorney needed for Las Vegas office

Job Overview:
A progressive civil litigation firm based in Las Vegas is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its team. This role offers hands-on litigation experience, direct mentorship from seasoned attorneys, and exposure to diverse practice areas including tort liability defense, insurance coverage, and insurance bad faith. This opportunity is being recruited on behalf of the firm by a legal recruiting agency.

Location:

• Las Vegas, Nevada

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs

• Assist in discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document requests

• Participate in court appearances and hearings

• Analyze complex legal issues and develop case strategies

• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to prepare cases for trial

• Maintain regular communication with clients and co-counsel

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

• Active membership in the Nevada State Bar (or eligibility for prompt admission)

• Proficiency and interest in civil litigation

• Commitment to high-quality legal work and client service

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Nevada State Bar license (or ability to obtain promptly)
