Job Overview: A law firm based in Gainesville, FL, seeks a skilled Personal Injury Trial Attorney to join a dynamic legal team. This role involves direct client interaction, active courtroom involvement, and collaborative work with experienced attorneys and support staff locally and remotely. The attorney will manage cases from initial intake to resolution, with opportunities to engage in depositions, mediation, and trial proceedings.

Duties:

• Engage in client communication and case updates
• Take and defend depositions
• Conduct legal research and draft motions
• Lead mediation sessions and settlement discussions
• Develop strategic approaches for each case
• Represent clients through trial, if needed, and work toward favorable outcomes

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation
• Proven 1st chair jury trial experience
• Active and in good standing membership with the State Bar
• Proficient in drafting and responding to motions
• Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar
