Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Remote Litigation Associate - OC to join their team in Grand Rapids, MI. This position is available nationwide in any state where the firm maintains an office. The role involves handling litigation, charges, and demand letters, with a focus on employment-related claims.

Duties

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court or arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediations in employment matters.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 4+ years of experience handling California employment litigation for Associate role consideration.
• 9+ years of relevant California experience for Of Counsel level consideration.
• Admitted to the CA state bar and compliance with all ethical requirements.
• Understanding of current agency (state and federal) procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the California state bar.
