In 2001, Vinnie Aubrey joined a boutique creditors' rights firm in metro Atlanta, where Bret Thrasher was developing his litigation practice. Over the next decade, Bret built a thriving creditors' rights litigation and foreclosure practice, while Vinnie managed a high-volume collections department. Vinnie departed for an in-house counsel position at CAN Capital, where he ran the collections and litigation team. At the same time, Bret continued his litigation practice, became a partner in the firm, and represented CAN Capital for the five years Vinnie was at CAN Capital.
