Sean is the founder of Quantum Patent Law Firm and is a patent attorney with over 15 years of experience in the field of patent law. Prior to founding the firm, Sean accumulated an abundance of experience working at Oblon, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, LLP, an IP boutique firm that is a leader in U.S. patent grants, and Pearne & Gordon, LLP, an IP boutique firm with a history of over 100 years. He also worked in-house at Schlumberger, the largest oilfield services company in the world, and managed a global patent portfolio relating to dynamic pressure management, drill cuttings management, and fluid processing.

In his career, Sean has drafted over 100 patent applications and has prosecuted to allowance applications in the fields of automotive technology, turbomachinery, semiconductor manufacturing, display panel manufacturing, robots, medical devices, imaging technology, home appliances, lighting systems, horology, eyewear, etc. Sean also has extensive experience advising clients regarding non-infringement, invalidity and patentability and utilizing the Examiner's search system (EAST) to personally conduct prior art searches.
