SEA continues to invest in its technological infrastructure to ensure that the firm is efficient and secure in its day to day processes. While consumer experience is at the top of our awareness, so is our top-notch staff. To help assist our hard-working staff, the firm continues to improve its processes to make sure that all staff are able to work with the latest, most efficient technology to get their job done. Additionally, data security and integrity are a top concern of the firm and SEA utilizes the latest technology to make sure all non-public consumer information is protected from being breached. SEA understands that when our clients give us such sensitive information, we have the great responsibility of protecting it. Therefore, PCI compliance, data encryption, penetration testing and vulnerability scans are important protocols in the firms environment. We are currently seeking improved technology to make the consumer experience better by providing IVR, web portal and instant messaging access to allow for a consumer to choose how they wish to interact with our firm. We expect this new technology to be available to the consumer by the end of 2018.

Therefore, SEA continues to make sure that the firm is compliant with all rules and regulations, along with any client-level requirements. The firm has invested resources to develop a compliance department that performs regular internal audits to assess current risks, and has a strong disaster recovery plan to ensure future sustainability. The firm is regularly audited by banking institutions, forwarders and debt buyers and takes pride in achieving top scores on these assessments.
