Firm History
McNamara & Horowitz LLP was founded on January 1, 1958, under the name Lian, Lodato & Geringer. Mr. Lodato left the firm in 1962 and the name of the firm was changed to Lian & Geringer. In 1986, James C. Dolan became a partner and the firm became Lian, Geringer & Dolan. When Albert W. Lian retired from the firm in 1990, the firm became Geringer & Dolan, and in 1999 became a limited liability partnership under the name Geringer & Dolan LLP. James C. Dolan retired in 2001, and founding partner Harold I. Geringer passed away in 2016. The firm continues more than six decades later under the leadership of partners David Paul Horowitz and John T. McNamara.
