Legal Advisors' Forum was primarily conceived as a partnership firm and registered accordingly with the name of Nepal Legal Advisors' and Researchers Forum on the 1987-03-04. It was henceforth amended into Sole Proprietorship, where Mr. Shambhu Thapa, one of the most leading lawyers of the country today, founded Legal Advisors' Forum, being its Sole Proprietor on 2000-11-21. Hence, with a rich history of over twenty eight (28) years, the firm stands as one of the pioneer law firm in Nepal. Today, the Firm is widely acclaimed, praised and regarded as one of the most trusted, dependent and reliant law firm in the entire territory of Nepal.

Recognition from Mr. Shambhu Thapa (Senior Advocate)
As the firm was primarily conceived and founded by Mr. Thapa, It takes pride in acknowledging and recognizing the most notable positions and memberships held by Mr. Thapa during his entire legal tenure of over thirty six (36) years and counting, as he had obtained the Advocate License in the year 1979. Apart from being highly renowned in the field of rendering professional legal service, he has also been able to establish himself as a fine identity of the entire civil Society. He was the President for the Nepal Bar Association for the tenure of three years from 2004-2007, during the historic Jana Andolan phase of Nepal and drove the masses, right from the speech. Also, it is to be noted that he was the member of the Drafting Committee of the Interim Constitution of Nepal. Likewise, he has been a lecturer at Nepal Law Campus for a period of over twenty eight (28) years and was also the elected Central Executive Member of the Tribhuvan Teachers Association in the past. Also, he was the General Secretary of NEPCA (Arbitration Council) and had been the Counselor Representative from Nepal to the International Bar Association and Law Asia.
