ORPAN was founded in 1955 by the brothers Gonzalo and Joaquin Soruco. From the start, the firm set the goal to provide specialized services for the legal protection of intellectual property rights in Bolivia. In 1986, the daughter of Mr. Joaquin Soruco, Mrs. Pilar Soruco Etcheverry took over the direction of the firm.
