In May1989, Leo H. Schuering, Jr, along with several other successful colleagues, formed a law firm that was to become, Schuering Zimmerman & Doyle. The founders wanted to apply their knowledge and accomplishments to practice in a small firm and focus on medical malpractice defense and general civil defense. They also wanted to concentrate their skills on a dynamic trial practice. Those lawyers still practice together and over the years others have joined them, and the firm has grown to be one of the pre-eminent trial firms in Northern California.
