Basset Chambers

Basset Chambers was set up in November 2000, by Mr. D?sir? Basset, Senior Counsel, and Mr. Nandraj Patten. The clients, mainly corporate, come from different backgrounds, including construction, hotel and fashion, banking and finance, global business, telecommunications, real estate and property development and tax planning.
Members of Chambers each have their own areas of practice. They handle both litigation and consultancy work. They are governed by and are committed to observe the Code of Ethics for Barristers published as General Notice 1702 of 1997 in terms of general principles, client relationships, standards and relations with the Courts. Members of the Chambers having 10 years experience or more accept pupil barristers for training.
