Our History - 2007-The firm is foundered by Mohammed Al-Ansari primarily as a boutique litigation firm, under Mohammed Ahmed Al-Ansari Law Office (Lawyers & Legal Consultants). 2008-The firm expands with the addition of senior lawyer Hossam F. Khamis, and expands its offering to include commercial and business law capability. 2009-Salman Al-Ansari joins the firm as a Partner, and the team expands rapidly to respond to the firm's growing reputation in a rapidly expanding Qatar legal market. 2010-Managing Partner Mohammed Al-Ansari is elected to the Board of the Qatar Lawyers Association and made Chair of the Public and International Relations Committee. 2011-The firm is named in Legal500 as a Recommended Firm. The firm promots Hossam Farooq to be a Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution. 2012-Mohammed Al-Ansari is recognized for his efforts to support the community through the firm's pro bono program by the National Human Rights Committee. 2013-The firm continues to expand with the addition of 4 litigators to respond to the firm's growing dispute resolution team. 2014-The Firm wins Domestic Deal of the Year at the IFLR 2014 Middle East Awards in Dubai in relation to the sale of Barwa real estate assets. Al-Ansari & Associates named Middle East Law Firm of the Year at the Corporate Counsel Middle East awards in Dubai. Al-Ansari & Associates named among the best in Qatar by Chambers & Partners 2014. 2015-The firm wins the Award for Middle East M&A Deal of the Year at the 7th Annual Global Major Markets Awards for its work on Barwa Real Estate acquisitions. 2016-Al-Ansari & Associates wins the ACC Middle East Achievement Award at the 2016 Corporate Counsel Middle East Awards. Al-Ansari & Associates expands its partnership to include Mr. Rafi Sajian, who joined the firm as a Partner and Head of Corporate. 2017-Salman Al-Ansari was awarded the ACC Middle East Achievement Award 2017 based on his work in relation to the promotion of the welfare of professional footballers. 2018-Al-Ansari & Associates has been shortlisted for four awards by the Corporate Counsel Middle East 2018 Awards, an event hosted by the Association of Corporate Counse. 2019-Al-Ansari & Associates moved to its New Headquarters at Al Asmakh Tower.
