Tommy Odom is a North Carolinian born & bred; born in Chapel Hill and raised on a farm in Mecklenburg County near Charlotte.
While growing up, Tommy's father, Fountain Odom, practiced law in Charlotte and served as Mecklenburg County Commissioner before being elected to the North Carolina State Senate. Following law school, Tommy practiced law for twelve years in the long-standing and respected firm of Weinstein, Sturges, Odom, Bigger, Campbell and Jonas in Charlotte.
In the year 2000, Tommy founded The Odom Firm. He continued to focus his practice on eminent domain, personal injury, and civil litigation.
Fountain Odom has been of counsel after completing 14 years of service as a North Carolina State Senator. Bringing many years of experience, Martha Odom joined the firm in 2004 taking on the firm's social security disability, competency, guardianship and personal injury practices.
While still in law school, David Murray interned at The Odom Firm in the summer of 2007. After graduating in 2008, David joined the firm. He now leads the firm's property and land law practice and works with Tommy on the eminent domain cases.
