Great Firm
Attorney (Current Employee) - Detroit, MI - August 3, 2021
Kitch is a great firm to learn, work, and grow at. The various practice groups are all very helpful from the partners to the support staff. Highly recommend.
Current or former employee?: Former Employee
Last Year at Employer: 2022
Job type: Full time
Pros: Some of the attorneys are friendly.
Flexibility with starting work hours within a set schedule (8-5, 7-4, or 9-6).
Cons: Most of the attorneys are abusive to staff and create HR problems.
Overtime is often taken away without prior approval, and requests for approval are ignored.
Pay is calculated in 15-minute increments, leading to situations where employees work for free.
High employee turnover, including among paralegals. Paralegals are expected to bill for every minute they're at work, including breaks, leading to a stressful work environment.
