Scott Fletcher is recognized as one of the leading securities litigation and enforcement attorneys in the country. As the former co-head of securities litigation and enforcement at Jones Day and, before that, at Vinson & Elkins, Scott has more than 30 years of experience representing officers, directors, board committees, and companies. He defends clients across the country in securities class actions, shareholder derivative disputes, M&A challenges, SEC and DOJ enforcement actions, and internal investigations. He has also tried commercial and bankruptcy-related cases to verdict and obtained several multimillion-dollar commercial arbitration awards.

Kenneth P. Held is an accomplished securities litigator with over 25 years' experience defending securities class actions, derivative actions, and enforcement actions in a broad array of industries, including energy, telecommunications, healthcare, and consumer goods. He has handled cases relating to stock-drop securities fraud, merger challenges, fiduciary duty, ERISA stock-drop class actions and insider trading investigations. His clients range from individuals to publicly traded and privately held companies, as well as private equity firms and hedge funds.

Scott Fletcher and Kenneth Held worked together for nearly a decade in the securities litigation and enforcement group at Vinson & Elkins. They represented companies and individuals in securities litigation, business disputes, enforcement matters, and internal investigations. Scott then joined Jones Day, and Kenneth later joined Skadden Arps. They came back together to form Fletcher Held which draws on their large firm experience but with the attention, efficiency, and responsiveness of a litigation boutique.
