Employees don't matter

When I worked here I soon realized if you weren't an attorney, you didn't matter. Lawyers constantly threw the "I'm an attorney, you're not" card to humiliate the staff. HR didn't listen or try to help in any way. I'm glad I got out when I did.

You can have any desk/office supplies you want
Cons
Employee morale is bad, some attorneys are incredibly mean to staff without any repercussions, if you have a computer & email set up the first day of work then consider yourself lucky.
Advice to Management
Notice areas that are a revolving door of employees and fix the problem.

"Negative Experience at Legal Firm: Lack of Respect and Unhelpful HR" - Anonymous
Cons: During my tenure at the firm, it became apparent that non-attorneys were not valued. Lawyers frequently belittled staff by emphasizing their attorney status. The HR department was unresponsive and unhelpful. I am happy to have left the company. On the plus side, the location was convenient. However, the compensation was low and there was a lack of respect and the need to pay for parking out of one's own salary.
