The firm maintains a reputation in the legal community for employing reliable, hardworking and honest attorneys. The firm's reputation is top-notch. The firm's caseload creates excellent opportunities for young lawyers to get practical experience and exposure to clients. Associates are actively involved in their cases and trials and are not left to push paper behind the scenes. DBMS has done well listening to their staff and responding to feedback by making changes with respect to firm administration and appointed an excellent new Chief Operating Officer in 2022. The firm's future is bright. Associate salaries and bonuses tend to be higher than those at other insurance defense firms in the city.ConsWith the benefit of being actively involved in cases comes a great deal of responsibility. For attorneys who prefer to be micromanaged and given a list of tasks to complete each day, this is not the firm for you. Potential applicants should also be aware that insurance defense clients require regulars reporting on each case.
