About Grabb & Durando, P.L.C

Robert was born in Havana, Cuba. In 1957, Robert's father, Samuel Grabb, moved the family to Miami, Florida, so he could pursue his medical education. Samuel's plan was to move his family back to Cuba after his three years of medical study. However, circumstances in Cuba changed drastically during those years. As a result, the Grabb family remained in the United States. In 1962, the family moved from Miami to Tucson, Arizona.
1983
Robert attended high school, college, and law school in Tucson. He obtained his Juris Doctorate (law degree) in 1983. Robert's parents always stressed the importance of education and hard work. Albert Grabb, Robert's older brother, is now a well-known radiologist in Southern California. Robert's younger brother, Jimmy Grabb, achieved fame in his own right by being ranked as the best doubles tennis player in the world on several occasions and number 23 in singles. Robert followed his passion and chose to become a personal injury lawyer and has been defending the rights of Tucson injury victims ever since.
1994
After working for several other law firms over the course of a decade, Robert decided to open up his own firm. In 1994, Robert Grabb and Nann Durando founded Grabb & Durando. It was their mission to provide quality representation to Tucson accident victims. Since childhood, Robert has believed that everyone has an obligation to give back to their community. Grabb & Durando is an extension of that belief. The firm fights hard to get their clients the largest settlements possible. Additionally, Grabb & Durando has been involved with many local charities and community events over the years.
2001
Grabb & Durando helped make countless improvements to Arizona law for injured workers. In Rowland v. Great State Insurance, a case where Robert was one of the attorneys for Rowland, the Arizona Court of Appeals agreed with the firm's position that a workers? compensation carrier could not add the cost of its independent medical examination to its statutory liens.
