The Kuniholm Group is designed to help attorneys involved in civil litigation achieve better results. We draw from our legal, medical and narrative experiences and insights to build sound legal strategies. We believe our ideas add impact and our litigation counsel and case evaluation strategies help attorneys focus on what matters most. Today our work is focused on legal medical strategy, exhibit services, case evaluation and continuing education.

Founded in 1991, Kuniholm Group, formerly Kuniholm Law Firm, appeared in all state and federal courts in North Carolina. Now we help attorneys throughout the United States.
lizElizabeth Kuniholm, the firm's founder, has devoted her 30 year career to safeguarding the rights of injured people. Liz has been widely acclaimed for her efforts to redress medical and HMO negligence, sexual abuse, and abuses in the foster care system. She has been recognized and awarded by numerous national and local organizations and served in leadership roles in the American Association for Justice, the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the North Carolina Bar Association. Liz has also served on commissions advising the North Carolina legislature on medical malpractice and birth injury litigation and is a Senior Lecturing Fellow at Duke Law School.

debDeborah Thompson has been working in the legal field for 22 years. Her inherent ability to connect with people and create a comfortable safe environment together with legal knowledge, helps draw out and accurately record a clients' experience.
