Atlanta office of our client seeks default/bankruptcy attorney with experience. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mortgage and lending client case portfolios from assignment to conclusion. Will draft legal pleadings, notices of hearings, motions and orders. Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, codes and the like. Update case management system in a timely manner to ensure data integrity. Travel to court and clients, as necessary. Communicate and collaborate with clients, internal staff and others to ensure effective case management. Identify legal issues/items which require additional review. Establish a strong follow-up system to ensure deadlines are met for various pleadings that must be served and filed. Prioritize and manage a high volume of files with great accuracy and attention to detail. Attend routine hearings, settlement conferences and other appearances as necessary. Write articles for reputable industry publications with supervision by Managing Attorney. Default experience with lenders and mortgage services in the state of GA and SC, is preferred.
