A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Associate for its Commercial Litigation group in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services and building strong client relationships.

Duties

  • Take ownership of assigned cases from start to finish, developing strategies for successful outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide informed advice.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding case progress and next steps.
  • Represent clients effectively in negotiations to achieve favorable resolutions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and colleagues across practice areas.
  • Uphold professional conduct and adhere to state bar requirements and firm policies.
  • Manage financial aspects of cases, including retainers and payment schedules.
  • Stay current with legal developments and complete required Continuing Legal Education (CLE).

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar or eligibility to waive in.
  • 3-7 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal setting preferred.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and detail-oriented individual.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar or eligibility to waive in.
