Attorney - General Liability

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Attorney specializing in General Liability in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in General Liability and possess strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills. Experience with depositions, mediations, and courtroom proceedings is highly preferred. The candidate should be capable of independently managing a litigation caseload and demonstrate a positive attitude while working within a team structure.

Duties

• Manage cases from inception to post-trial.
• Communicate with clients to keep them updated on case status.
• Make court appearances and participate in mediations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare, review, and respond to discovery.
• Conduct research as required by each case.
• Conduct direct and cross-examinations of expert witnesses at trial and in depositions.
• Meet billing requirements.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of General Liability experience.
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage a litigation caseload independently.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
