Of Counsel - Litigation (Product Liability)

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Of Counsel for its Litigation group in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal writing skills, particularly in pharmaceutical and medical device Daubert/Rule 702 motions practice. This position offers a hybrid work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Duties

• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Supervise associates and collaborate with experts.
• Assist with fact development and depositions.
• Help develop case strategy.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Extensive experience with Rule 702 and Daubert issues.
• Background in science (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) required.
• Experience in products liability litigation.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus.

Education

• JD from a nationally recognized school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application; New York license encouraged.
