Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Immigration Attorney with over six years of experience to join their Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in employment-based immigration, including handling H-1Bs, PERMs, I-140s, AOS, E's, O-1s, L-1s, and TN's. This full-time position offers the flexibility to work remotely two days per week.

Duties

  • Serve as the primary legal and strategic point of contact for assigned corporate clients.
  • Advise clients on business immigration strategy, workforce planning, and compliance considerations.
  • Oversee and review matters prepared by associates and paralegals.
  • Lead regular client status calls, planning discussions, and escalations.
  • Manage and mentor associates, paralegals, and support staff assigned to client teams.
  • Coordinate closely with firm members on client strategy, service delivery, and resource allocation.
  • Identify process improvements and efficiencies within client immigration programs.
  • Support business development efforts and contribute to long-term client relationships.

Requirements

  • Active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Substantial experience managing client work and liaising with client contacts.
  • Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills.
  • High-level attention to detail.
  • Ability to take initiative, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supervising junior associates, paralegals, and other support staff.

Education

  • Strong academic credentials.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in good standing.
