Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Venture Partner with over seven years of experience to join their Corporate, Venture Capital, and Emerging Growth team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will support companies in diverse fields such as CleanTech, SaaS, life sciences, and more, contributing to a dynamic and inclusive culture.

Duties

• Represent startups and institutional investors in venture capital and emerging company transactions.
• Manage mergers and acquisitions, startup formation, and corporate governance.
• Collaborate with specialists in tax, intellectual property, and employment law.
• Engage in licensing, technology transactions, and securities as needed.

Requirements

• 7+ years of corporate or transactional experience.
• Strong drafting and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage clients and opposing counsel effectively.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid authorization to work in the U.S.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar membership in good standing.

Skills

• Experience in venture capital and emerging company transactions.
• Proficiency in managing complex legal issues.
