Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Corporate M&A Associate to join its Portland, OR office. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience advising clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, transaction execution, corporate governance, securities compliance, entity formation and maintenance, and corporate finance.

Duties

• Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions and other corporate matters.
• Execute complex transactions across various industries.
• Ensure compliance with securities regulations.
• Assist in entity formation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with clients to address corporate finance needs.

Requirements

• J.D. from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Active bar admission (Oregon preferred or eligibility to waive in).
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset and strong client service orientation.
