Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level Corporate Associate to join its Corporate, M&A, and Securities Practice in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, and corporate governance.

Duties

• Represent public and private companies, investors, and funds in corporate transactions.
• Draft acquisition agreements and related transaction documentation.
• Manage internal and external client relationships effectively.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• JD from an ABA Accredited Law School.

Certifications

• Must be licensed or ready to become licensed in the jurisdiction of the hiring office.

Skills

• Strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements.
• Experience in drafting transaction documentation.
• High degree of maturity and business sense.
