Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Traditional Labor Associate in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of traditional labor experience, including collective bargaining and contract administration. Experience with grievance arbitration and defending or prosecuting unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board is preferred. Candidates with some employment litigation experience will also be considered.

Duties

  • Engage in collective bargaining and contract administration.
  • Handle grievance arbitration proceedings.
  • Defend and prosecute unfair labor practice charges.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide excellent client service to internal and external clients.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of traditional labor experience.
  • Admission to the Oregon Bar.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to growth and client service.

Education

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

  • Admission to the Oregon Bar.
