A law firm seeks an associate to join its Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in executive compensation and employee benefit matters, particularly within M&A deals and private equity contexts.

Duties

  • Advise on executive compensation and employee benefit matters in M&A transactions.
  • Provide counsel on public-company executive compensation issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits.
  • Experience with M&A deals, particularly in private equity.
  • Admitted or eligible to seek admission to the Illinois bar.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Illinois bar or eligibility to seek admission.
