Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with over one year of experience to join their litigation team in New York, NY. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, work independently and collaboratively, and engage in various legal proceedings.

Duties

  • Prepare legal reports and communicate with clients.
  • Conduct depositions and draft motions.
  • Respond to discovery demands and Court Orders.
  • Appear in court and handle arbitrations/mediations.
  • Engage in trial preparation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong legal knowledge.
  • Admission to New York State Court; Federal Court admission is a plus.
